Our Curriculum
Our comprehensive curriculum covers all aspects of firearms safety, including proper handling, storage, and maintenance. We also offer advanced courses in defensive shooting, long-range marksmanship, and tactical training. We tailor our courses to the needs of each individual student.
Our Philosophy
At North Idaho Firearms Training, we believe that responsible firearms ownership is a fundamental right. We are committed to promoting safe and legal gun ownership through education and training. We believe that with the right training and mindset, anyone can become a safe and responsible gun owner.

The 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees our right to keep and bear arms. It, however, does not protect you against frivolous lawsuits. Like many red blooded Americans I carry a firearm everyday.
Regardless if you live in a “shall carry” state, or a state that requires a concealed carry permit, you need to think about civil liability. What if you have to use your firearm. Even in a true self defense situation, repercussions can be severe.
First, there is the criminal aspect. There will be an investigation, and a referral to the district attorney’s office for review. The district attorney agrees it’s self defense, and the criminal component has been cleared, but what about the civil element.
Civil court proceedings are completely separate from criminal, and can be a long difficult fight. You will need a good attorney, one that understands situations like this, and the ability to pay for that attorney for potentially several months.

He is a firearms instructor for several years now, and is very knowledgeable about this industry. Chris has been gracious with his time helping me with classes, and his insight has been invaluable.
