Range Safety Officers are an essential component for every shooting range, and the NRA is the Platinum Standard for certification. Classes are taught by a NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer, who have taken upon themselves complete many hours of additional training.

This class is taught by some of the best Chief Range Safety Officer’s in North Idaho. This is an all classroom setting that requires the passing of a written test at 90% minimum.

This class also has portions where the prospective

RSO will demonstrate their knowledge of firearms, their ability to talk a shooter through the correct procedure of clearing a malfunction, or clearing the malfunction themselves in a safe manner as to not damage the shooters firearm, or injure themselves, and the shooter.

Passing of this class earns you the title:

NRA Range Safety Officer!
