Advanced Pistol Training

This training starts with basic pistol fundamentals, shooting from holster, compressed ready, etc, building up, to malfunction drills, into reloading drills, getting you ready for full speed Advanced Training. Fundamentals are key, that’s why it’s important to build proper technique from the start. Trigger and Muzzle control, the two most important fundamentals that must be mastered to be safe and effective.

We start with fundamental drills to include grip, stance, holster presentation, getting on target, magazine changes, failure malfunctions, and marksmanship.

Next we move into target acquisition, engaging multiple targets, being precise in your movement.

Next we move to rifle drills. All the same pistol drill, but with your rifle. Emphasis on keeping your weapon operating correctly.

Next we start transition drills, rifle to pistol, and back. This is where we introduce high speed movement drills, getting you ready to complete a moving live fire course.

Next we start movement drills. Shooting while moving different directions, clearing malfunctions, reloading, engaging multiple targets, transitioning from one weapon system to another, all the while scoring precise A zone hits.

Finally…we put everything into play, and run you through several timed course of fire, one of which is a timed qualification course of fire.
